We offer educational support across Key Stage 2, 3, 4, and Post 16, aiming to maximise potential and build confidence. Our Alternative Education Programme is available to schools in Essex. We focus on innovative educational strategies that cater to the unique needs of each student.

Role Description

This is a hybrid role for an Academic Tutor based in Westcliff-On-Sea, with some work from home acceptable. You will be responsible for conducting classes (1:1 and small groups), developing lesson plans, assessing student progress, and providing targeted support in subjects such as Mathematics and English. Effective communication with students, parents, and staff to ensure a positive learning experience is also required.

Qualifications

  • Experience in small classes and Tutoring 1:1
  • Strong background in the chosen field
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with students, parents, and staff
  • Ability to tailor teaching methods to individual student needs
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in alternative education settings is a plus
