A leading defence organisation is seeking a Systems Engineer to join their Systems Design Emerging Portfolio and Capability team. The role involves delivering systems engineering expertise for complex weapons capabilities, engaging in multi-disciplinary teams, and contributing to advanced engineering techniques. Candidates should have experience in systems engineering and leadership skills, with a salary of up to £60,000 depending on experience.
Join our Systems Design Emerging Portfolio and Capability team to deliver systems engineering expertise for cutting-edge Complex Weapons capabilities for the UK and partner armed forces, addressing advanced threats across all domains (Air, Land, Sea).
Salary: Up to £60,000 (depending on experience)
Location: Bristol, Stevenage, or Bolton (Relocation available)
Hybrid working: Typically 3 to 4 days on-site per week
Security Clearance: British Citizen or Dual UK national with British citizenship. All successful candidates will undergo BPSS checks managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
Contribute to multi-disciplinary teams or lead work packages, gaining broad engineering experience, engaging with partners, coordinating specialists, and developing advanced systems engineering techniques. Opportunities to lead teams and develop future engineers are also available.

Leadership or broader engineering management experience, especially in managing work packages, complex activities, or technical relationships, is desirable.
