Our Mission

Coventry University's Legal Services team seeks an enthusiastic, proactive, and committed paralegal to join on a 12-month fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave. You will support the Legal Services Department by handling legal queries, drafting and reviewing commercial and academic/research documents, assisting with contentious matters, and providing high-level contractual and contentious advice. The Role

As a Paralegal within CU Corporate Services, a wholly owned sister company of Coventry University Group, you will contribute to the department's operations, handling legal queries, drafting, reviewing documents, assisting with contentious issues, and providing legal support in a dynamic team setting.

Our Successful Candidate

Applicants should have a degree in Law or a related field, or a first degree with postgraduate law qualification such as LPC or GDL. Prior experience in contract and commercial law in a paralegal or similar role is essential.

Excellent communication skills, professionalism, discretion, and sensitivity are required. The role demands strong self-management, prioritization skills, ownership, and a proactive, solution-focused approach.
