The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the effective day-to-day administration and coordination of clerical procedures concerning outpatients and appointment management in line with National Policy and locally agreed guidelines. The Dermatology Service at Northwick Park Hospital is looking for a full-time Administrative Assistant to work Monday to Friday.
This is a varied and interesting role with great learning opportunities. You will be responsible for managing patient flow through the department and working closely with the Dermatology Lead Clinicians, CNS Team, and support services such as radiology, pathology, and outpatient departments, using email, telephone, face-to-face, and written communication as required. This role provides an excellent starting point for anyone interested in joining the NHS, learning the basics, and advancing within the trust. Pathway co-ordinator skills gained here can transfer to more advanced roles if your goal is to progress.
