Key Accountabilities
- To lead some of Smyle's biggest and highest profile accounts with integrity and insight to ensure Smyle is their agency of record at every relevant touchpoint in their business
- Drive commercial excellence across all your accounts. Build and create positive financial impact for Smyle
- Bring an entrepreneurial mindset and collaborative approach to deliver impact and commercial value to our clients and colleagues
- Build and nurture trusted relationships that provide stability, and long term visibility on our clients business planning. Adopt their objectives as your own
- Develop and implement strategic account plans that align Smyle's capabilities against our client objectives to maximise opportunity development and account growth
- Laser focus on ownership of commercial growth and profitability on your accounts, against set targets
- Own the client delivery focusing on their key objectives overseeing multiple projects
- Build a deep understanding of our client's business, sector and industry to bring value to them and to our agency approach. Be their internal brand guardian
- Lead and inspire our teams to deliver industry leading projects and pitches, excelling against our client briefs and driving commercial success for our agency
- Work with our teams and clients to set clear project objectives and collaborate to exceed these. Lead and be the glue that creates project success offering council to creatively problem solve where required
- Add your voice to our Smyle community, and represent our behaviours and values as an ambassador for the agency
- All other duties appropriate to the role
Skills & Experience
- Significant experience in a comparable role within events, content and brand activation
- Client curious, brand advocator and business oriented
- Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Commercially savvy and strong, with experience of managing highly profitable accounts and budgets exceeding £1m
- Exceptional communication skills, with ability to build rapport and adapt approach
- Excellent presentation and organisational skills
- Bring a point of view and challenge in a positive, constructive way
- Ability to operate at a fast and flexible pace
- Ability to organise and lead teams on creative, strategic projects / pitches
- Embrace and champion Smyle's behaviours
