Job Title: Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and passionate Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Chartwells on a part-time basis, contracted for 16 hours per week. You will be a key part of a team that takes pride in their food, brand, and most importantly, their people. Shift Patterns

Variable shifts. Please note: This role is contracted for 43 weeks per year.

Key Responsibilities

1. Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers.
2. Maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen and surrounding areas.
3. Ensuring the correct use of all machinery and equipment.
4. Assisting with the loading and unloading of deliveries and supply vehicles.
5. Representing Chartwells and maintaining a positive brand image.
6. Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
7. Adhering to Health & Safety regulations.
8. Managing pressure, prioritizing tasks, and communicating effectively at all levels.
9. Being an excellent team player.
