Kitchen Assistant - Chartwells

We are seeking a motivated and passionate Kitchen Assistant to be a vital part of our team at Chartwells. This is a part-time role, contracted for 27.5 hours per week, with opportunities for growth within a company that values its people, celebrates individuality, and rewards dedication.

Note: This role is contracted for 45 weeks per year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing high-quality, delicious food that delights our clients and customers.
• Maintaining cleanliness standards in the kitchen and surrounding areas.
• Ensuring proper use of all machinery and equipment.
• Assisting with loading and unloading deliveries and supply vehicles.
• Representing Chartwells and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
• Adhering to Health & Safety regulations.
• Managing pressure, prioritising tasks, and communicating effectively at all levels.
• Being an excellent team player with a committed and organised approach.
• Having a desire to succeed and demonstrating reliability and punctuality.
• Flexibility to work various shifts.
