We have a fantastic opportunity for permanent Senior Structures Engineers/Senior Bridge Engineers to join our Amey Consulting team in Sheffield, with shared office space, attending the office when necessary, and remaining days working remotely. We welcome applications from Senior Structural Engineers across this region.
Scotland is a significant growth area for Amey. We manage both the Southwest and Northeast Trunk Road Network Management contracts, with the Southwest awarded in 2020 and the Northeast in 2022. These are 8-year contracts, extendable up to 12 years. Additionally, we have a diverse portfolio of major roads, bridges, and transportation and civil design projects with Transport Scotland, Local Authorities, and established contractors across the country.
As a Senior Structures Engineer/Senior Bridge Engineer, you will support your Design Team Leader on various structures schemes, lead projects, and mentor junior engineers and technicians. Responsibilities include:
