A leading engineering firm is seeking a Senior Bridge Engineer to join their Sheffield team. You will manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring high-quality engineering solutions while mentoring junior staff. We have a fantastic opportunity for a permanent Senior Bridge Engineer to join our Amey Consulting team with shared office space in Sheffield, attending office when necessary, and remaining days working remotely. We welcome applications from Senior Bridge Engineers across this region.
Our Amey Consulting Structures Team is expanding and involved in designing some of the largest civil engineering and associated infrastructure projects across Scotland, with cumulative values in excess of £1bn.
Amey manages both the Southwest and Northeast Trunk Road Network Management contracts, awarded in 2020 and 2022 respectively. These are 8-year contracts, extendable up to 12 years. Additionally, we have a diverse portfolio of major roads, bridges, and civil design projects with Transport Scotland, Local Authorities, and contractors nationwide.
These long-term contracts offer excellent opportunities for technical, engineering, and professional design staff at all career stages to be involved in some of Scotland’s most exciting engineering projects.
