Station Systems Technician - Early & Late Shifts (Level 4) (On-site, United Kingdom)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working with technical experts committed to making an impact. Be part of a high-performing team managing complex and critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Station Systems Technician will perform planned preventative maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems).

Work Schedule: 4 days on, 4 days off, 12-hour shifts, alternating between early shifts (6am-6pm) and late shifts (12pm-12am).

Responsibilities:

• Assist technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens.
• Attend planned, remedial, or corrective maintenance tasks.
• Maintain SISS assets and report station communication faults.
• Use field IT equipment for maintenance data.
• Coordinate with Telent Service Centre for task updates and completions.

Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy multi-tasking and learning. Experience in a similar role or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures is advantageous.

Key Requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background.
• Proficiency in O365 and IT awareness.
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Availability to work 4 on 4 off, 12-hour shifts, alternating between early and late shifts.
