Job Title: Cash Manager

Are you a Cash Manager looking for a new role? Are you skilled in managing cash flow and payments in a manufacturing business or a similar fast-paced organization? Are you seeking a hands-on, operational role where organization, accuracy, process, and communication are key to success?

Kingscroft has been engaged to recruit a Cash Manager to support the operational cash management of a specialist manufacturing group. The ideal candidate will have experience in cash management and accounts payable within a manufacturing environment, a multi-site operation, or similar fast-paced organization.

Working with a core head office finance team, you will regularly communicate with site accounts payable and receivable teams to build and maintain an accurate short- and medium-term cash position.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Managing group cash within available facilities.
2. Preparing detailed monthly cash flows by site and for the group.
3. Issuing the daily cash position to the Group Managing Director and the Group Finance Director.
4. Updating cash flow reports with daily bank statements.
5. Reviewing and authorizing daily payments in line with schedules with each site.
6. Monitoring and maintaining standing orders and direct debits.
7. Developing relationships with banking and finance suppliers.
8. Drawing down from financing as required based on availability and short-term funding needs.
9. Liaising with site accounts payable clerks to agree payments and ensure control processes are followed.
10. Ensuring invoices are authorized by the Group Managing Directors before payments.
11. Ensuring payments align with agreed terms.
12. Preparing and issuing weekly group availability reports (BSF).
13. Agreeing weekly payments with each site accounts payable clerk.
14. Aligning payments with upload forecasts provided by each site.
