They will support the development and delivery of our strategy for systems, culture, and assurance to reach ZERO HARM by championing relevant action plans, interventions, and campaigns to achieve continual improvement in our HS&E performance. They will also develop appropriate HS&E policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all HS&E legislation, regulations and EDF obligations.

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience

The post holder will require strong leadership skills together with extensive knowledge of health, safety & environmental legislation & management of risk, including Construction, Design and Management Regulations (CDM 2015). They will need to demonstrate experience of developing, reviewing, and monitoring HS&E management systems and procedures to ensure they remain effective.

You will need the ability to work effectively as part of a management team and have experience of building effective relationships internally at all levels and with external stakeholders.

You will need to hold a NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, NVQ Level 6 in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent. Ideally, you will be a Chartered member of IOSH or working towards this.
