Job Description

What a Senior Manager of VAS Europe Sales and Commercial Operations does at Visa:

The Senior Manager of VAS Europe Sales and Commercial Operations will be responsible for leading the implementation of effective sales and commercial strategies to drive revenue growth and expansion of our business model across the region. The role involves developing and executing transformation projects to enhance our Sales and Commercial Operations processes for best-in-class sales execution. The position will collaborate closely with regional Value-Added Services (VAS) and other functional leaders to implement systems and procedures.

Responsibilities

  1. Support pipeline reviews & updates and VAS monthly AANR outlooks.
  2. Assist in quarterly and annual revenue and pipeline forecasting, setting goals with Sales Leadership and Finance.
  3. Support Multi-Year Strategic Outlook (MSO) development.
  4. Participate in quota setting and coordinate with the compensation team to align plans and quotas at the individual level.
  5. Partner with Sales Operations Support to streamline operations and improve efficiency in the sales process.
  6. Prepare for quarterly business reviews (QBR) and monthly business reviews (MBR), including internal updates.
  7. Track, report, and drive revenue acceleration through deal performance analysis and resolution planning.
  8. Support collections efforts in the region to improve cash flow.
  9. Contribute to sales planning and territory management.
  10. Oversee AANR governance, ensuring compliance with processes and policies.
  11. Engage in ad-hoc projects and revenue-driven analyses.

This position supports Visa's global sales function within our USD 8Bn+ Value Added Services (VAS) portfolio. You will be part of a high-impact sales & commercial operations team dedicated to fostering Visa's growth.

This is a hybrid role, requiring work both remotely and in the office, with a typical presence of 3 days a week at our Paddington office in London.

Qualifications

  • 7-10+ years of experience, including significant financial management and strategic sales operations planning in a high-growth B2B environment.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, or related fields.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build stakeholder relationships across complex, matrix organizations.
  • Results-oriented, organized, capable of managing multiple priorities and dealing with ambiguity.
  • Proficiency in CRM (MS Dynamics), MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Tableau.
  • Understanding of the electronic payments industry is beneficial but not essential.
  • Interest in global financial systems, FinTech, and innovative business models.
