Job description

Job Title: Senior Quality Inspector

Location: Barrow in Furness (onsite)

Salary: Starting from £35,802- depending on skills and experience

What you'll be doing:

  • Performing Quality Inspections to BAE requirements, audit and document receipt of procured parts within the business.
  • Understanding the Quality requirements, the schedule and priorities and assuring the provision of an inspection service in line with the above.
  • Assuring that high quality records are produced as an output of the production processes and Inspections
  • Taking accountability for Quality Inspections of externally manufactured products, Quality Inspection requirements and document release of procured parts at the Barrow Site

Your skills and experiences:

  • Mechanical, Engineering, Quality or Manufacturing Background
  • Experience reading technical drawings
  • Broad Understanding of Quality Inspection Techniques
  • Previous QC Inspection experience.
  • HNC level qualification or relevant experience in Trade background
