Qualifications

  • Mindestens 2 Jahre Erfahrung in der Qualitätskontrolle erforderlich.

Job description

THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior Quality Inspector for our expanding Quality Control Department. Assessing the quality of bespoke incoming and outgoing components, the Senior Quality Inspector will ensure production standards are met and maintained on a variety of high-performance projects, ensuring our continued success on some of the world’s most acclaimed motorsport series.

The role responsibilities include:

  • Full inspection of a wide range of technical components, from both internal and external suppliers, to ensure they meet our specific requirements and standards.
  • Operate various measurement and testing equipment, including CMM’s, micrometres, verniers, gauge blocks and visual inspection techniques.
  • Creating records of all inspection results and data in compliance with quality assurance.
  • Identifying defects, logging and reporting these, and resolving them with suppliers.
  • Inspecting certificates from suppliers, auditing trails, and confirming certificates are correct.
  • Providing feedback to internal Department Heads in respect of quality assurance outcomes.
  • Training and mentoring Junior Inspectors, sharing knowledge to ensure best practice for future development.
  • Drive improvements to quality assurance processes.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking to appoint a motivated team player with 2+ years previous experience of Quality Control.

You should be well organised with a keen eye for detail and be capable of prioritising busy workloads in a time-sensitive environment.

You should have an understanding and knowledge of ISO 9001 standards, and an ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

You should have experience in using equipment like CMM with PC Dmis software.

You should have strong computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

You should also have strong communication and collaboration skills and be confident working as part of a team as well as under your own initiative.

You should share our determination to deliver a winning performance for the very best results.
