We have an opportunity for a permanent Infrastructure Specialist to join our IT Department. The successful candidate will report to the Infrastructure Operations Manager and will be responsible for planning, designing, developing, and launching efficient operational systems to support core organizational functions. This includes all IT projects, continual service improvement, and BAU activities. The candidate should possess proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to identify, communicate, and resolve system issues, maximizing the benefits of the IT environment.
Responsibilities include:
The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and knowledge of technologies including Windows Server, Active Directory/Entra ID, and ideally SQL Server or Snowflake, Microsoft 365 services, and public cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. Experience with compute, storage, virtualization, and networking products like VMware, Cisco UCS, or SAN solutions is preferred. Knowledge of DevOps principles and technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, and scripting languages like Python, YAML, and PowerShell is desirable. Familiarity with Agile, Kanban, ITIL v3/v4 certifications, and public cloud certifications will be advantageous. The candidate must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be capable of producing high-standard documentation, and share knowledge effectively. They should be a team player, responsive to customer issues, and possess good time management skills. The role involves some on-call, weekend work, and shift-based hours between 08:00-17:00 or 09:00-17:00.
