We are building the leading provider of private company data in Europe.
Private companies represent 80% of private sector employment and over 90% of revenues across Europe. They are the backbone of our economy – creating jobs, driving innovation, and generating the tax receipts that enable government services. Yet finding, collecting, and understanding information about private companies remains a significant challenge.
We bridge this gap by providing our customers with comprehensive, up-to-date private company information. Our online platforms help our clients to discover, track and understand these companies. This empowers them to take informed action, whether they're offering services or funding to help companies grow, crafting supportive policies, or making better decisions through deeper understanding of the economic landscape.
We work with venture capital firms, big financial institutions, leading universities and the Government to help them find and work with companies that drive disruption and innovation across the economy.
As an Enterprise Account Manager, your role will be a perfect blend of building great relationships and hitting targets. This means getting to know your clients personally, asking the right questions to have an in-depth understanding of both their personal and business goals. We want to be seen as more than “Beauhurst Account Managers” and work with our clients in a truly consultative way, to maximise the impact of Beauhurst across their business.
Through a mix of networking, relationship building, education, and training, you’ll be working with the leaders of strategic teams within businesses across the majority of UK high street banks, top professional services firms, global tech companies, and UK Government departments to help them integrate and leverage the Beauhurst platform to support the most exciting businesses in the UK.
From here, you'll be spotting opportunities to increase their subscription value and cross-sell to other teams within their organisation, as well as ensuring they get value from our product year on year.
You’ll also be looking to leverage referrals from existing clients and your personal network, as well as proactively reaching out to prospects, to align Beauhurst with their strategic goals and ultimately onboard them as new clients.
Day to day, your responsibilities will include:
Working closelywith Client Experience Managers to ensure new users are onboarded and all your clients receive continuous support
Working directly with our Head of Enterprise Accounts to build and execute strategies in order to grow the value of your accounts, e.g. by networking towards and reaching out to senior leadership within prospective clients
Building relationships by maintaining regular contact with your clients via email, phone, and in-person meetings, and by arranging and attending in-person networking events and lunch/drinks with clients
Engaging with new business prospects through a mixture of cold and warm leads to generate interest, run sales demonstrations, and onboard new clients
Creating and maintainingorg charts for all Enterprise clients, with a view to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities or other parts of their business to network towards
Collecting feedback and suggestions from clientson our platform and sharing this with our product team to help continuously improve our offering
Hitting value growth and retention targets (and being rewarded for it)
We’re not looking for experience in a specific background or industry, but we do want you to have a minimum of 3 years experience consistently hitting targets in roles where you’ve led end-to-end sales processes and managed business clients to drive growth and retention.
This means:
You will ideally be:
We're offering a competitive starting salary which will be based on experience
We also invest a lot in keeping our people happy and healthy! So as well as that, you'll also get:
A stake in the company: Substantial options scheme, so you can share in the growth that you help create
The latest tech: We’ll provide you with all the tech you need to be productive (including a Mac), whether you’re in the office or working from home
Health and wellness: Free professional counselling, wellbeing baskets, and healthy snacks
Professional development: Ongoing training and development, and free books
Events: Breakfast every Monday, drinks every Friday, interesting talks from industry experts, company-wide parties and away days, plus regular team socials
Subsidised travel: Rail season ticket loan, free railcards, and a cycle to work scheme
Please note that applications with generic answers to these questions will be automatically rejected.
