Job Overview

We are seeking two Non-Executive Directors to join our Board. Candidates should share NHS and CNTW values. If you can answer positively to the following questions, please contact Debbie Henderson, Director of Corporate Affairs, for further discussion:

Role Specifics

We seek two Non-Executive Directors:

  • One with a legal background to Chair the Mental Health Legislation Committee
  • One with broad corporate/business acumen, ideally with digital innovation experience

Prior NHS experience is not necessary, but alignment with CNTW values is essential. You will be part of the Board, shaping and delivering our strategy.

Essential criteria include empathy, board experience, knowledge of governance, strategic and financial expertise, partnership skills, accountability, understanding of legal duties, change management, and experience of collaborative working. Attributes include commitment to NHS values, diversity, inclusion, system working, strategic thinking, integrity, engagement, and communication skills. Competencies involve sound judgment, strategic communication, ethical data use, influence, objectivity, and cross-organizational work. Leadership qualities include vision, resilience, emotional intelligence, political astuteness, and presence.
