About The Role
This role is an all-encompassing position that requires high levels of customer interaction. The primary purpose is to build solid relationships with our customer base, proactively upsell additional products, support sales within the team and wider company, process orders, organize and arrange deliveries, offer thoughtful solutions to queries, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. The job is based at our office in Ford, West Sussex.

What Will You Do
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- This role involves order input and customer service in a busy, fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will handle a large product portfolio, including roofing, civils, and insulation products.
- Work closely with all departments to ensure smooth delivery and service of our products, both domestically and from other BEWI countries.
- Provide holiday cover for team members as needed.
- Input orders into our ERP system and liaise with customers and internal teams.
- Conduct internal sales activities such as lead generation and follow-up on quotations.
- Ensure the highest level of customer service at all times.
- Upsell additional products within the group portfolio.
- Maximize transport efficiency.
- Inform customers about lead times, update them on issues or delays, and organize delivery schedules.
- Maintain high organization and attention to detail.
- Handle complaints promptly and carefully.
- Gather and report customer feedback regularly, follow up on deliveries, and understand customer needs.
Key Skills
- Enjoy liaising with customers and managing challenging situations professionally.
- Meticulous attention to detail, especially for order input.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal teams and managers.
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and ERP systems like AX is advantageous.
- Self-motivated, capable of managing a busy hybrid role with external and internal liaison.
- Background in manufacturing or construction is beneficial but not essential.
