About the Role

Rikama Education is supporting a special needs school in Lambeth seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join their team in May 2025. The school caters to secondary students with complex learning needs, including Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and Severe Learning Disabilities (SLD).

Candidate Requirements

We are looking for a qualified and experienced SEN Teacher, particularly with experience in leading communications and phonics. The ideal candidate will be capable of planning and delivering high-quality lessons tailored to individual learning needs and providing professional leadership within their curriculum area.

The successful applicant will be an effective, reflective classroom teacher demonstrating best practices in teaching young people with SEN, including PMLD, SLD, and ASD.

This role is suitable for an experienced SEN Teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) with a solid understanding of PMLD and a passion for making a positive impact on students with special educational needs.
