Job description

Horizon Teachers are currently recruiting for an SEND Teacher to join an SEND Primary school in East London from September 2025. The school is looking for someone with significant experience working with children who have PMLD and complex needs across various ages. They aim to find the right candidate early to allow adequate preparation and a smooth transition for the students and staff.

We have a strong history of collaboration with this school, providing teachers and support staff, and the feedback on the work environment and school attitude has been outstanding. The role involves working with a KS2 mixed class of children aged 9-11, most of whom have complex needs and additional diagnoses of ASD. The ideal candidate should be patient, understanding, and committed to building trusting relationships with the children.
