Role Responsibilities: Conveyancing Paralegal
  • Manage your individual pipeline in a clear, organized, and effective manner, proactively completing auction packs promptly.
  • Obtain and verify land registry documents and title deeds (for unregistered land).
  • Identify title defects and issues such as adverse possession claims, lost deeds, discrepancies, and report these to the Team Leader.
  • Review all received documentation, including property information forms and searches, requesting additional documents from sellers as needed to expedite the conveyancing process.
  • Conduct and review pre-contract searches related to local authority proposals, leases, easements, covenants, mortgages, land tax, flooding risks, subsidence, or structural issues.
  • Inform clients of any issues affecting property sale, such as restrictions or cautions on the title register, promptly.
  • Deliver efficient legal services, meeting monthly targets within specified timeframes.
Candidate Requirements
  • Minimum 6 months of previous conveyancing or property law experience.
  • Experience with office management systems and procedures.
  • Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills.
  • Proactive approach to completing tasks effectively and promptly.
  • Ability to prioritize workloads within tight deadlines.
