The role involves a comprehensive set of responsibilities across various domains in business analysis and project support, including:

  1. Data Collection and Analysis
    • Gathering data from sources such as databases, interviews, surveys, and documentation.
    • Cleaning, validating, and organizing data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
    • Applying analytical tools and techniques to derive actionable insights.
    • Identifying trends and patterns to inform business decisions and support strategy development.
  2. Requirement Elicitation and Documentation
    • Supporting the creation of project scope documents and requirement artefacts.
    • Conducting stakeholder interviews, workshops, and observation sessions to gather business and system requirements.
    • Documenting requirements using formats such as user stories, use cases, and functional specifications.
    • Working with stakeholders to prioritize and refine requirements in line with business goals.
  3. Process Mapping and Modelling
    • Mapping existing processes using tools like process flow diagrams and swim lane charts.
    • Identifying inefficiencies and areas for optimization within workflows.
    • Designing and modeling improved future-state processes aligned with business objectives.
    • Engaging stakeholders to validate proposed process changes.
  4. Research and Analysis
    • Conducting market research and benchmarking to inform decision-making.
    • Analyzing internal performance data and external market trends for growth opportunities.
    • Providing research-based insights and actionable recommendations.
  5. Reporting and Presentation
    • Developing reports, dashboards, and presentation materials to convey analysis and recommendations.
    • Adapting content for diverse audiences, from operational teams to senior leadership.
    • Presenting findings in meetings and workshops to facilitate buy-in and informed decisions.
  6. Testing and Quality Assurance
    • Assisting in creating and executing test plans and cases to validate solutions.
    • Supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet expectations.
    • Documenting defects and collaborating with developers for resolution.
  7. Project Coordination and Support
    • Supporting project planning, scheduling, and tracking activities.
    • Maintaining key project documents like charters, status updates, and risk registers.
    • Coordinating with stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
  8. Product and Application Support
    • Monitoring product and application performance to meet business needs.
    • Investigating and resolving user issues, escalating as needed.
    • Supporting release management, including planning and validation.
    • Participating in UAT cycles and change control to support improvements.
    • Liaising with users for feedback to maintain usability and functionality.
  9. Continuous Improvement
