X4 Technology is partnered with one of the world's leading financial institutions to offer a unique opportunity for a Junior Business Analyst to join their team. This is a long-term, day-rate contract role focused on Generative AI projects, where you'll collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to shape next-generation intelligent banking solutions.

Responsibilities of the Junior Business Analyst (Generative AI):

1. Collaborate with product owners, engineers, and data scientists to define AI-powered solutions.
2. Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements and data-driven stories.
3. Engage directly with engineering teams, using your technical understanding to support the development and validation of GenAI tools.

Requirements for the Junior Business Analyst (Generative AI):

1. Solid working knowledge of Python, ideally within AI/ML contexts.
2. Exposure to FastAPI, CI/CD pipelines, Git merge.
3. Ability to actively contribute to technically focused discussions with engineers.
4. Familiarity with GenAI concepts (RAG, chunking, prompt engineering, etc.).
5. Curiosity, adaptability, and eagerness to bridge business and tech domains.

The role pays £300-325/day on an inside IR35 basis. The initial contract is for 6 months, with significant scope to extend for the right candidate.
