Planet Pharma is partnered with a leading global pharmaceutical company, and we are actively seeking a Senior Safety Scientist to join on an initial contract basis.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Signal Detection & Risk Assessment: Monitor safety data to identify potential safety signals, trends, and emerging risks using qualitative and quantitative methods.
2. Case Review & Analysis: Evaluate individual case safety reports (ICSRs) and aggregate safety data for completeness, accuracy, and medical consistency.
3. Regulatory Reporting: Prepare and review regulatory documents including Periodic Safety Update Reports (PSURs), Development Safety Update Reports (DSURs), Risk Management Plans (RMPs), and other post-marketing safety reports.
4. Safety Data Review: Collaborate with clinical, regulatory, and medical teams to ensure timely and accurate review of safety data throughout the product lifecycle.
5. Benefit-Risk Evaluation: Conduct ongoing assessments of the benefit-risk profile of pharmaceutical products and contribute to safety strategy planning.

Key Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field.
2. Minimum 7 years of Pharmacovigilance experience.
