This is a new PI Underwriter role for an experienced PI professional with a minimum of 8 years of exposure in this class.

The role involves managing a global book, excluding the US, with a high volume of UK and Australian business, including a significant amount of open market exposure. The candidate should have experience working with solicitors, architects, insurance brokers, and accountants.

This position is with a long-established Lloyd’s syndicate. While hybrid working is available, the candidate is expected to spend considerable time at the office.

The role involves managing a large, transactional, individually underwritten book, requiring travel to visit and develop broker relationships across the UK. Relationship management and underwriting skills are both crucial for success in this growing area.

A strong PI underwriting foundation is essential. While established underwriting expertise is preferred, a broking background may also be considered depending on the level of experience.
