JBA Consulting is currently seeking experienced, enthusiastic, and dedicated Software Developers with skills in C# .NET to join our Technology, Data, and Software Development (TDSD) teams.
We undertake specialist system, software, and data development for the natural and built environment, working with organizations such as central government, environmental agencies, transportation authorities, utility companies, and private firms like Network Rail, Environment Agency, Natural Resources Wales, Met Office, Innovate UK, and Local Authorities. Our reputation is built on providing innovative and web-based solutions that often require resilient, secure systems, and the ability to analyze large-scale data.

We utilize a mix of commercial and open-source software and are eager to experiment with the latest tools, technologies, and techniques to enhance our solutions.
The successful candidates will be involved in all stages of the software development lifecycle, including engineering software solutions through prototypes and proofs of concept, developing fully functional applications, and creating rich front-end user interfaces and efficient services using technologies like React and Angular.
These roles report to the line managers of the TDSD teams and can be based in our Leeds, Saltaire, or Skipton offices, with flexible, agile working arrangements supported.
This role includes responsibilities for mentoring less experienced developers and some line management duties. Candidates should be prepared to submit work samples or complete a small test program as part of the application process.
