Westlakes Recruit is currently recruiting for an Electrical Designer, ideally with a background in the Nuclear, Defence, or other highly regulated sectors, to be engaged on a long-term contract basis, full-time on-site in Derby.

Designer Responsibilities:

1. Work within the present CE&I design team to deliver all typical CE&I detailed design deliverables according to the schedule and support meeting key milestones.
2. Produce or check the required design drawings and documentation for the appropriate base deliverables.
3. Continuously produce high-standard quality documentation, drawings, and deliverables.
4. Be accountable for effective time management and planning of their work.
5. Attend design reviews and support the presentation of design documentation.
