Introduction

We are excited to announce the retention of our contract to deliver a community drug and alcohol treatment service. We are recruiting for an Advanced Recovery Practitioner: Trainer to lead support, training, and induction of new staff, coordinate internal CPD, and facilitate external training for our partners across the county. The role involves leadership responsibilities, supporting new staff, and representing the organization externally.

We offer a competitive starting salary, which increases annually, dependent on experience. You can be based at Bury St Edmunds, Ipswich, or Lowestoft. We provide structured career progression and support your long-term career goals, including management and leadership opportunities.

Role Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively within a team
• Participate in meetings
• Act as a point of contact for training and development
• Support and facilitate induction and mandatory training for new staff
• Provide coaching and monitoring to team members
• Assist with competency training reviews
• Identify training needs with Learning and Organisation Development
• Maintain up-to-date learning records on Explore
• Facilitate drug and alcohol training for external agencies
