Job description

Monarch Education is working with an outstanding nursery in Corby. They are recruiting for two Nursery Nurse positions to join their dynamic and high-achieving team.

Requirements of Applicants

• Level 3 qualification is preferred, but Level 2 will be considered.
• Experience working with nursery-aged children in a previous role or work experience.
• Enthusiastic, flexible, and eager to learn.

Working Hours and Salary

• Temporary, long-term positions with the option to become permanent.
• £105-£115 per day, dependent on experience.
• Monday to Friday, full-time hours; part-time contracts are available - please inquire for details.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to provide a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for children, in line with The Early Years Foundation Stage.
• This role is physically demanding and requires mobility; outdoor work in all weather conditions may be necessary.
• Accompany small groups of children on day trips, ensuring safety is the highest priority.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the nursery to ensure a safe environment.
• Build positive relationships with parents to bridge home and educational experiences.
• Assist with serving children's lunches and afternoon snacks.
• Complete learning journals and progress plans to communicate children's activities and education plans to parents.
