We are offering an exciting opportunity for a talented team leader to join our Subrogated Recovery Department in a pre-litigated team. Over the past two years, this department has expanded from one team to four, with further growth anticipated.

Role Overview

The Team Leader will be responsible for delivering results aligned with KPIs and service standards, while fostering a positive and motivating work environment. This role offers a significant opportunity to influence the department's future direction and growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop operational processes with the BUD and others to improve efficiency and profitability.
2. Report on team performance to senior management regularly.
3. Ensure litigated files comply with SRA obligations.
4. Manage team performance against SLAs and KPIs, ensuring adherence to processes.
5. Maintain work quality through audits, coaching, and feedback.
6. Provide training and support to ensure team competency.
7. Manage personnel fairly, following Keoghs policies.
8. Create a motivating environment that promotes personal development and teamwork.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

• Civil litigation experience, from claimant or defendant side, including Fast Track level.
• Experience managing a team in a legal or insurance environment.
• Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and provide constructive feedback.
• Fairness and objectivity in decision-making.
• Goal setting and prioritization skills.
• Proficiency with IT and knowledge of subrogated recoveries and personal injury claims.
• Experience handling multi-track claims.
