Days Monday to Friday, flexi-time 6am-2pm / 7am-3pm etc.

This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically biased maintenance or electrical engineer to work with a booming FMCG business that is investing heavily in automation. The role focuses heavily on project work (around 60%) with exciting projects and a significant budget. Additional duties include facilities maintenance (20%) and responding to breakdowns (20%). Candidates must have experience interrogating and fault-finding on Siemens, Allen Bradley, or Omron systems.

The company has a turnover in the millions and operates nine automated lines across a large, clean, and spacious plant. They manufacture niche products for various industries, working with state-of-the-art machinery, including ABB pick and place robots. The role offers PLC training (external course) and a potential progression route to a future electrical team leader position.

Experience Required:

• At least 5 years of experience as an electrically biased maintenance or electrical engineer
• Experience in interrogating and fault-finding PLCs
• Familiarity with AC/DC motors and control systems
• Experience with control panels
• Knowledge of 415V, 3-phase, and 240V single-phase electrical installations
• Ability to read and troubleshoot electrical and schematic diagrams
• Strong attitude and willingness to develop and progress within the company
