About the Company

Our client, a leading cost consultancy, is seeking an MRICS Chartered Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Cambridge. You will be working with a vibrant and collaborative team on high-profile, exclusive projects in London and beyond. The projects span various real estate sectors including residential, hotels, commercial offices, stadiums, life sciences, education, and healthcare, with project values exceeding £100 million.

About the Role

Your core responsibilities will include:

• Leading all elements of cost management from inception to completion.
• Managing multiple large-scale projects with key clients.
• Delivering feasibility studies, cost estimates, and cost plans at each design stage.
• Supporting and supervising junior team members to ensure efficient cost management services.
• Assisting in business planning and contributing to client retention and acquisition.
• Preparing and issuing tender documents.
• Managing tender processes, evaluating bids, and advising clients on procurement.
• Analyzing construction costs and alternative proposals to stay within budgets.
• Providing advice on building contract terms.
• Implementing post-contract cost control procedures, including change management and final account negotiations.
• Developing and maintaining client and consultant relationships.
