To maximise and maintain sales of Acute Care systems and reagents by providing highly professional product sales and support activity to users and potential customers. Acute Care products include:
- GEM Premier Systems
- Rotem
- Hemochron
- VerifyNow
- Avoximeter
- GEMweb Plus
- GEM ChemSTAT
Key Accountabilities
- Manage your sales area as your business to maximise profitable sales of systems, reagents, and consumables.
- Maintain current and in-depth knowledge of all products in the range.
- Establish a customer call frequency appropriate to the business level at each account.
- Conduct sales visits, presentations, and demonstrations professionally.
- Utilize sales tools during visits: GEMweb Plus, demo tools, Werfen Touch.
- Ensure optimal use of Werfen reagents and encourage new accounts to place standing orders.
- Enter all new accounts into CRM Fiori with complete details.
- Coordinate with Technical Specialists for efficient installation and training.
- Maintain accurate prospect lists and keep CRM updated, focusing on the Fiori Value Prompter tool.
- Ensure CRM data supports market mapping and pipeline forecast accuracy.
- Identify and visit decision-makers at each account, including management and supplies.
- Provide a monthly sales forecast and review accounts regularly.
- Liaise with the Sales Manager on tenders and share information with other Business Group Managers.
- Assist users with applications and troubleshooting, involving Technical Support as needed.
- Regularly communicate with Field Service Engineers for market insights.
- Follow up on lost sales and monitor competitive activities and products.
- Gather customer feedback on products and future needs.
- Report monthly activities, including sales forecast, lost business, and objectives.
- Notify the Sales Manager immediately of potential obstacles.
- Adhere to IMS policies and use the complaint system effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Proactively pursue additional opportunities beyond specified responsibilities.
Measures of Performance
- Achieve sales targets in volume and product mix.
- Meet P&E targets.
- Keep customer records current in CRM.
- Maintain updated market maps and pipeline forecasts.
- Follow systematic call plans and maintain weekly itineraries.
- Maintain demonstration instruments and provide monthly forecasts by the 25th.

Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position:
- BSc in Science, Business, or related field. Business or related experience. Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, and other tools.
- Understanding customer dynamics, IVD market, and competitor strategies.
- Knowledge of company products, solutions, and services, including health economics.
- Effective selling techniques and familiarity with tendering norms.
