The role of a Business Development Representative at Canonical

You will collaborate with regional sales and marketing teams to find customer projects that fit our products and promote Canonical across industries and geographies.

The role entails
  • Executing outbound sales & marketing campaigns
  • Researching prospective customers and market trends
  • Generating high-quality leads for senior sellers to build a multi-million dollar pipeline
  • Owning and closing SMB opportunities within your territory
  • Collaborating across teams and stakeholders to drive results
  • Helping define team processes and policies
  • Traveling to events and conferences worldwide to present and generate face-to-face marketing and sales opportunities
What we are looking for in you
  • Proven success in SDR or outbound sales, exceeding quotas and growing pipelines
  • Experience engaging with senior executives to identify opportunities
  • Background in enterprise software or tech sales
  • Strong academic record from high school and university
