Role: Commercial Manager – North Scotland

Salary: £42,000 - £45,000 + Electric Company Car + Commission

Location: Aberdeen

We are seeking a Commercial Manager to join our Aberdeen site, covering the North of Scotland, including the Aberdeen, Dundee & Stirling and Inverness offices.

The role of Commercial Manager is hands on, commercial and results focused manager who has a drive to deliver excellent customer service and demonstrates our Company values

Leading and developing the performance of the commercial teams in their region this role will promote the Company’s hire business, to include our full range of products and services, ensuring the Division’s Customer Charter is followed. The key focus is on order winning activity.

Working alongside operations teams, the role holder will promote an environment of effective people development, teamwork and communication.

As part of the commercial management team you will work closely with the Regional Commercial Manager to shape, promote and drive improvement to all areas of work winning activity and departmental communication.

As a Commercial Manager, you will:

* Accountability for the delivery of orders and budgeted KPIs for specified region.

* Create a culture of Business development and networking to identify prospects and grow the understanding of modular buildings in the Scottish Market.

* Provides hands on support for high value and complex opportunities includes customer contact and liaisons with key support functions to ensure that order winning potential for these is maximised.

* Promote a culture of Health and Safety by taking a management responsibility for ensuring safe working and consideration for health and wellbeing. Personifying Zero Harm.

* Ensure that strong customer relationships are developed in the region through effective communication to provide excellent levels of customer service resulting in repeat, continued or new opportunities and orders.

* Substantial commercial experience, including face to face sales experience and business development

* Can demonstrate ability to work independently and drive in new initiatives

* Proven experience in team management, including coaching

* Can deliver efficiency improvement and optimisation

* Current competitor information and market trends awareness

* Full UK driving licence.
