Working Hours:

45 hours - 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday, plus 1 in 2 Saturdays 9am to 12pm (Some flexibility available)

Branch Details:

This branch is staffed with an experienced team including a Non-Pharm manager, providing an excellent service to the local community from their setting in a GP surgery. Currently dispensing around 8,000 items per month, this is a relatively busy branch. It also utilises Medipac robotic distribution technology, which helps free up your time to focus on patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring legal and ethical compliance
• Provide medication counselling and support to patients, addressing questions and concerns
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
• Conduct medication reviews and manage medication safety
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage pharmacy inventory
• Provide immunization services (where applicable)
• Offer advice on over-the-counter medications and healthcare products
• Participate in health promotion and public health initiatives

Requirements:

• Registered Pharmacist with the GPhC
• Proven experience in a GP surgery pharmacy setting
• Strong commitment to patient care and safety
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceutical products and healthcare trends
