Customer Team Leader Location: 32 Upper Malone Road, Belfast, BT9 5NA Pay: £13.65 per hour Contract: 16 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent, part time Working pattern: Varied shifts including early mornings from 6am, afternoons, late evenings until 10pm and weekends, to be discussed at interview. The role will also include working in our in-store bakery.

You must be aged 18 or over to be a customer team leader at Co-op, as you’ll need to authorise age-related sales.
We’re looking for Customer Team Leaders to join our team at Co-op.

As a Customer Team Leader, you’ll be part of a friendly team that’s dedicated to helping our customers. We’ll look to you to help lead the store team – coaching and supervising our Customer Team Members and deputising for the Store Manager, while also delivering great customer service and performing a wide range of other tasks around the store like re-stocking shelves and cleaning up spillages.

What you’ll do- Provide friendly and thoughtful service – offering welcoming, helpful, and considerate assistance every day, often managing the store and handling challenging situations in our in-store bakery
- Develop your team's capabilities through coaching and training, fostering an inclusive culture where everyone's voice is valued and respected
- Ensure the store remains safe, legal, and fully operational
- Manage diligence checks and stock accuracy to enhance the shopping experience for customers
- Support your store manager by deputising when they’re not present and assisting with HR processes
- Lead the introduction of new products and services, working closely with your team to implement change and gather feedback
- Build relationships and engage with your local community, supporting the delivery of the local Co-op community plan
