This position is based at our Head Office. You must live within a reasonable distance to the office or be willing to relocate by the role commencement date.

Job Purpose

As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in leveraging data to drive insights, optimise business performance, and support decision-making. You will work with existing data platforms while contributing to the development of an Azure-based data lake, ensuring seamless integration and enabling advanced analytics.

Your responsibilities will include data extraction, cleaning, visualisation, and analysis, as well as collaborating with stakeholders to identify key business challenges and opportunities.

This role requires a bright and enthusiastic individual with a proven track record in supporting data reporting across various business areas. Candidates should have retail experience and at least 5 years of IT experience with SQL, SSIS, and SSRS software. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will work with all levels of staff and departments. Travel may be required to sites and partner offices.

  • Deliver actionable insights to stakeholders in finance, HR, IT, customer service, and marketing.
  • Create interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI for non-technical users.
  • Extract, clean, and transform data from platforms such as ERP, CRM, or bespoke systems.
  • Support database and system operations for hosted information servers.
  • Assist in designing and implementing pipelines for the Azure data lake.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide tailored solutions.
