Are you a specialist PE SEND Teacher with experience supporting pupils? Are you looking for a new role?

A vacancy has become available for an experienced SEND Primary PE Teacher in Woodford.

The Role

In this SEND Teacher PE role, you will be teaching different classes ranging from 5-8 pupils all with a high-level of special educational needs. The children vary in age and ability but have similar requirements in regards to developing their communication, social and emotional skills and require support to access learning activities.

You will be required to plan and prepare learning and development PE activities. There are three learning support assistants in the class to support students and assist with learning and development activities.

The school are looking for a SEND Teacher with the following;

• QTS or an equivalent qualification
• previous experience within a Special Educational Needs school
• Having taught PE previously
• experience planning and teaching students with Autism, ADHD and communication/language needs.

This SEND Teacher role is to start from September 2025 and is offered on a full-time, ongoing contract basis
