What you'll be doing:

• Producing accurate monthly management accounts for contracts within your remit and reporting results to relevant managers.
• Preparing forecasts and budgets in liaison with Business Unit Managers, providing support for new projects/contracts.
• Ensuring all contracts comply with company finance procedures and policies, and proactively suggesting improvements.
• Overseeing general finance duties such as invoicing, monitoring systems, and cash collections.
• Assisting with cost modelling and corporate governance for new tenders.
• Line management responsibility for 1 Assistant Accountant.
• Performing any ad-hoc requests as required by the business.

What are we looking for?

• Fully qualified ACCA, ACA, or CIMA Accountant with management accounting experience, preferably in an operational environment.
• Technologically minded individual with advanced Excel & Google Sheets skills; exposure to WORKDAY, BI, or ADAPTIVE INSIGHTS is highly desirable.
• Analytical mind with keen attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise confidently across the business.
