Job Title: Pastoral Support Assistant

Location: Syon Manor College, Aston House Campus Middlesex, UB8 1SZ

Salary: Up to £23,500 per annum

Hours: 37.5 hours per week; Mon - Wed 8:30 - 4:30 & Thurs and Fri 8:30 - 4:00pm

Contract: Permanent, Term Time only

As part of our continued growth, we now have a fantastic opportunity for a Pastoral Support Assistant to join our close-knit team at Syon Manor College School located in Middlesex.

About the role
To provide a high quality education support service to Pupils and in accordance with Company policies, procedures and practices and the standards set by the Regulatory Body.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the subject teacher/tutor to ensure the delivery of high-quality education for all students
  • Support the subject teacher and/or tutor to ensure full implementation of education policies and procedures
  • Provide relevant and appropriate support to students, individually or in groups, to enable independent access to the curriculum
  • Promote, in line with Company policies, the physical, educational, and moral development of students
  • Ensure equipment and resources are used, stored, and maintained efficiently, reporting issues as needed
  • Assist in organizing the classroom, resources, student groupings, and displays to create a stimulating learning environment for students with autism spectrum disorder

Required

  • Experience managing challenging behavior and working with SEN learners with Autism
