THIS POSITION IS ELIGIBLE FOR A SIGN-ON BONUS OF UP TO $6,000+ DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE

The Enterprise Mobile Service Technician independently performs in-field advanced diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned agricultural equipment, by operating a mobile service vehicle and traveling to customer locations throughout our TNE area of responsibility. The Enterprise Mobile Service Technician is responsible for the effective repair of machinery and components at high levels of quality across all TNE locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide first-line mobile service support to True North Equipment customers
  • Perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, reconditioning, and assembly on agricultural equipment, using the latest diagnostic technologies such as Service Advisor
  • Participate in Service EDUCATE Training programs to develop skills and knowledge
  • Deliver a professional experience to customers as a trusted technical advisor
  • Mentor service technician trainees and support employee and customer training events
  • Maintain knowledge of John Deere and competitive products
  • Ensure the condition of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment is maintained
  • Keep work areas clean and perform work neatly and orderly
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations
  • Complete work in a safe, professional, and timely manner
  • Complete repair orders, reports, and forms promptly
  • Account for all time and materials used in duties
  • Document machine information and repairs accurately on work orders
  • Participate in company-sponsored training to develop skills
  • Engage in communication efforts such as meetings and huddles
Qualifications:
  • Perform advanced repairs using specialized tools and manuals on machines of the technician’s specialty
  • Minimum 5+ years of diesel service repair experience
  • Excellent mechanical, computer, customer service, and organizational skills
  • Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in agricultural and turf equipment
  • Proficient in operating diagnostic vehicles and equipment, including Service Advisor
  • Ability to lift at least 75 lbs repeatedly
  • Advanced diesel technician education – Level 3
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
  • Strong work ethic, communication skills, and professionalism
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR
  • Legal work authorization in the U.S.
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and perform quality work efficiently
Compensation & Benefits:

Hourly rate: $26-$45+ depending on experience, plus a company vehicle.
