Job Description: Finance Analyst

Axon Moore is partnering with a high-growth business in Chorley that is expanding its operations. This organization has experienced significant growth in recent years and has attracted a top-tier finance team led by an established CFO.

The role is suitable for a commercially minded, driven, ACCA/ACA/CIMA nearly or newly qualified candidate with a strong understanding of journals, stats, and double entries. You will receive mentorship and development from a high-caliber ACA-qualified Finance Manager.

Responsibilities include:

1. Preparation of statutory accounts and monthly board packs
2. Preparation of monthly and quarterly covenant reporting
3. Month-end reporting to the Senior Management Team and the Board
4. Handling audit and tax queries
5. Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes
6. Preparation of M&A budgets, completion accounts, and earnout calculations
7. Post-acquisition progress reporting
8. Supporting the delivery of other ad-hoc projects as required

The ideal candidate will be ambitious, technically astute, with strong Excel and data management skills, capable of multitasking across multiple projects.
