Job summary

The Boehringer Ingelheim UK internship is a 12-month paid placement starting September 2027. The role is head office based, requiring a minimum of two days per week in the Winnersh office.

Working with the Strategic Accounts team, you will support the Amazon account by turning sales, stock and market data into actionable plans that drive profitable growth, including planning, performance tracking and cross-functional projects.

Qualifications

• Currently studying for a degree in business, marketing, economics, data analytics, e-commerce or a related subject, and completing a placement year as part of the course.
• Minimum of three A levels at grades ABB, or equivalent.
• Right to work in the UK for the full duration of the internship.
• Ability to travel independently to the usual place of work and, where required, to other sites.
• Comfortable working with numerical information and able to use Microsoft Excel to organise, analyse and present data accurately.

Responsibilities

• Track and summarise Amazon sales, stock, forecast and profitability measures, highlighting changes, risks and opportunities for the Customer Lead.
• Support the Amazon annual business plan and joint planning activity by maintaining actions, preparing meeting materials and coordinating inputs from internal teams.
• Work with Strategic Accounts, Marketing, Category, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal and global colleagues on Amazon priorities and projects.
• Use Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and internal reporting tools to maintain dashboards and analyse product availability, stock cover, online sales, promotional performance, advertising and third-party seller activity.
• Help improve Amazon execution by supporting product content optimisation, identifying performance gaps and following agreed actions through to completion.
