Job summary

Maxwell Bond is partnering with a growing e-commerce business to hire a Commercial Data Analyst who will translate data into commercial decisions.

You'll work with sales, marketing and e-commerce data to improve reporting, build Power BI dashboards, define KPIs and identify opportunities to drive growth. You will collaborate with stakeholders to turn insights into action and support the business with data-driven recommendations.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL experience and a business intelligence background.
• Experience analysing commercial data such as sales, customer or marketing performance.
• Good understanding of KPIs and performance reporting.
• Confidence working with non-technical stakeholders and explaining findings.
• Owns processes and proactively improves how things are done.

Responsibilities

• Use SQL to analyse sales, customer and marketing data.
• Build and improve Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Define and standardise KPIs so performance is measured consistently.
• Identify trends and turn data into useful business insights.
• Automate manual reporting and improve existing processes.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, E‑commerce and Operations to support commercial decisions.
• Work with the Senior Data Engineer to improve data quality and reporting.
