Zoomo, Manchester, is seeking a skilled Repair Mechanic to be the face of our workshop, handling appointments, walk-ins and repairs on e-bikes and e-mopeds for couriers. You’ll diagnose issues and clearly explain solutions to customers, while maintaining safety and workshop standards.

You will manage workload, support roadside calls when needed, and join a dynamic team at Zoomo driving greener urban mobility. Roles exist for both junior and senior mechanics.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bicycle mechanic with strong diagnostic and repair skills (e-bikes and/or e-mopeds a bonus).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical individuals.
• Ability to manage your own workload and prioritise tasks effectively.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the first point of contact for customer repair and maintenance requests, providing friendly and efficient service.
• Manage the daily appointment calendar, scheduling repairs and communicating effectively with customers.
• Diagnose and repair a wide range of e-bike and e-moped issues, providing clear explanations and solutions to customers.
• Perform high-quality repairs and maintenance, ensuring customer satisfaction and vehicle safety.
• Process repair invoices and handle customer queries professionally.
• May be required to attend to occasional roadside assistance requests.
