Job summary

The Woodland Trust is seeking a Dynamics 365 Developer to join our Business Applications Management team in Grantham, UK. The role focuses on designing, developing and supporting Dynamics 365, Customer Insights Journeys and Power Platform solutions.

You will collaborate with analysts and stakeholders, ensure governance and security alignment, and mentor colleagues to grow internal capability. The position is a full-time, 2-year fixed-term contract with hybrid working.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement and Power Platform solutions.
• Knowledge of Dynamics 365 architecture, Dataverse security, Power Platform governance, and ALM best practices.
• Experience contributing to solution design, release management, governance activities, and managing mixed solutions and custom apps.
• Knowledge of data quality, migration and integration considerations within enterprise CRM platforms.
• Experience working with stakeholders, suppliers and managed service partners; exposure to Customer Insights Journeys or similar platforms.
• Ideally, experience designing, developing and supporting plugins and custom APIs.
• Degree-level qualification or equivalent in Computer Science, IT or related discipline; Microsoft Power Platform or Dynamics 365 certifications (PL-400, PL-600, MB-280 desirable).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Dynamics 365, Customer Insights Journeys, and Power Platform solutions.
• Work with third-party suppliers to transfer knowledge, docs, deployment processes, and ownership.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Ensure solutions comply with architecture, security, governance and compliance.
• Investigate and resolve issues, defects and technical debt.
• Produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation and operating procedures.
• Share expertise and mentor colleagues to build capability.
• Support user acceptance testing, release planning and production deployments.
• Hybrid role with home working and Grantham head office attendance (~1x/month).
• Full-time, 2-year fixed term contract.
