Job summary

Pertemps Bond is seeking a confident and organised Transport Administrator to join a busy logistics hub at East Midlands Gateway (DE74), near Castle Donington and Kegworth. You’ll support the transport managers and planners to ensure smooth and efficient delivery operations throughout the depot.

The ideal candidate will have strong IT and spreadsheet skills, be highly organised and capable of prioritising a heavy workload, and communicate effectively with drivers and stakeholders in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Experience in transport/logistics is beneficial; other sector experience considered.
• Basic knowledge of transport legislation (driver hours, vehicle compliance) advantageous.
• Strong IT and spreadsheet skills are required.
• Highly organised and able to manage workload independently.
• Confident communicator with ability to juggle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare delivery and collection paperwork.
• De-brief drivers and process return paperwork accurately.
• Produce reports for management and customers.
• Check driver timesheets, mileage logs, and tachograph data.
• Handle high-volume data entry, filing, and general admin.
• Support the wider transport team with ad hoc duties.
• Supervise front desk.
