Job summary

Ad Warrior Ltd in Cambridge is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join the Pelican Team. The TA will support the class teacher, work with groups of children and help individual pupils as directed.

The role is permanent, 37.5 hours per week during term time, with additional duties such as playground supervision and before/after school club rota. Start January 2027, closing date Monday 5th October at midday.

Responsibilities

• Provide particular support for pupils, including those with special learning needs.
• Support the children's wellbeing and educational progress.
• Develop the children's emotional security, self-belief and social skills.
• Encourage pupils to interact with others and engage in activities.
• Prepare resources for lessons as required.
• Support pupils assigned to you and liaise with teaching staff about pupils' understanding and progress.
• Create stimulating, interactive displays.
• Ensure that all school resources are maintained in good order
